BALANCING ELEMENTS
Set main subject(s) off-center, and balance with another object(s) less important.
LEADING LINES
The human eye naturally follows the lines: curvy, zigzag, straight, diagonal, etc.

FRAMING
Search for natural frame(s).
Be creative, play with obstacles.


CREATE DEPTH
Creates a sense of 3-dimensional.
No flat, but more real moments.
SYMMETRY & PATTERNS
Naturally or Man-made, try to capture symmetric objects or patterns.

VIEWPOINTS / CAMERA ANGLES

EYE LEVEL
At the human eye level, for a neutral effect


LOW ANGLE
Effect of making the subject look powerful, heroic, even dangerous


HIGH ANGLE
Effect of making the subject seem smaller, vulnerable


BIRDS-EYE VIEW
Creative. Taken right from the top of the subject. Gives a wider view of the scene


NADIR
Creative. Taken from the area on the ground directly below the subject
