Divide in 9 with imaginary lines, then position the main subject(s) at intersections or centered.

Set main subject(s) off-center, and balance with another object(s) less important.

LEADING LINES

The human eye naturally follows the lines: curvy, zigzag, straight, diagonal, etc.
